ABOUT US

In the beautiful and  fertile countryside of Venice’s inland are located the 45 acres of Colli di San Giorgio’s vineyards, devoted to the production of Dom Gio’ Prosecco D.O.C.

The estate owned by Dominese’s family, finds its roots from the grandparents’ inheritance that in the postwar established the heart of the firm in Torre di Mosto, dedicating the fields to the vocated cultivations of Venetian countryside, vines and cereals. In the past decades the parents have extended the family properties, conveying to their four daughters the love and commitment to the fields.

Today, Colli di San Giorgio is a young and feminine agricultural firm managed by Dominese’ sisters, Valentina e Simonetta, as part of a larger family agriculture business of over 300 acres.

In 2012 Valentina and Simonetta have decided to produce the first bottles of their Dom Gio’ Prosecco D.O.C., named after their father Giorgio, as a token of appreciation, and after their youngest sister Giovanna, as a sign of the future generation.

Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.
